Fear and Trembling

Fear and Trembling: a poem by Jeremy Stevens [and a title lifted from Kierkegaard]

To risk it all, a chance one takes,
for that which he believes,
requires an act of faith so great,
Abraham would be pleased.

To risk it all, a chance one takes,
for love that burns white hot;
for those who take the greatest leap,
the greatest gift of all.
